Customize the Control Bar

• Open Sierra Chart
• Click Global Settings from the Title Bar
• Customize Control Bars > Control Bar 1
• Search through the available control bar commands, expand the categories, and Add/Remove commands. Simply use the Move Up/Move Down buttons to change positions

Note: Images can be used instead of Text on the control bar. Also, trading actions can be added to the control bar.

See what’s important, no need to waste screen space

By default most buttons on the control bar will go unused by users. Each button should have a purpose, as there’s no need to waste screen real estate as traders. Remove unused buttons and replace with useful buttons.

Styling the Control Bar

Title bar: Global Settings > Graphics Settings - Global > Control Bar (All Control Bar elements)

Move Control Bar Location

To move the control bar, simply Right-Click anywhere in the control bar and click “Align”. There are options for Top, Left, Right.
