Signup With IBKR:
Introduction
It is possible to both chart and trade an InteractiveBrokers (IBKR) account through Sierra Chart. Requirements:
- An IBKR account
- Latest version of Sierra Charts
- Running either TWS platform or set up an API while running Sierra Charts

Setup Instructions
- Signup with IBKR
- Download, login, and open the TWS trading platform from Interactive Brokers
- In the TWS platform:
- File > Global Configuration, ensure the following:
- API > Settings:
- Enable ActiveX and Socket Clients is checked
- Read Only API is un-checked
- Socket Port 7496
- Component Exch Separator:
/
- Allow Connections from local host only is checked
- API > Precautions > Bypass Order Precautions for API Orders is checked
- General > Consider increasing the default Memory Allocation
- Install a fresh copy of the latest version of Sierra Charts, then open Sierra Charts
