Add A Line, Rectangle, or Other Drawing to Chart

It’s very simply to add drawings to a chart:

• SC Menu: Tools > select any tool then click to apply it to the chart
• You can right click the drawing to bring up settings or other parameters such as color
• Right Click and click Erase Drawing, or to remove all drawings from a chart, click to select the chart > SC Menu: Tools > Erase all Non-Text Drawings

Put Frequently Used Tools in the Control Bar

Save clicks and reduce time spend clicking around by adding a button to the Control Bar that is a preconfigured drawing (such as a rectangle colored a certain way for a zone). View tutorial on Control Bar HERE

Create a Saved Configuration for a Tool

The settings and visuals of a tool can be saved as a configuration. For example, instead of always using the default styling of a tool, there is a saved configuration with preset settings and anchors. These can also be saved to the Control Bar. More on that HERE.

Get started:

• Open a chart window
• Title Bar: Tools > Select any tool (Example: Extending Rectangle)
• Right click the tool drawing the was just applied
• Click Chart Drawing Properties
